With summer in full swing and Independence Day weekend upon us, we complied a quick list of intriguing real estate listings to check out while you’re waiting for the grill to fire up.
Kicking off the list is Nottingham Ranch, recently listed for sale in Eagle County. Coming onto the MLS at $100 million, it is one of the largest single land offerings in Eagle County’s history. Located near Burns, Colorado, the Nottingham Ranch consists of 19,493-acres, surrounded by National Forests, the Flat Tops Wilderness and Bureau of Land Management property on all sides. This trophy property is a piece of Colorado history nestled in ski country.
As Snowmass Village continues to make headlines with new commercial developments, only three new construction single family homes have been built in the Village since 2011. Two of these homes are currently listed, coming in at $6.7 million and $11.75 million. Located in a more private area of Snowmass, 180 Saddleback Lane, listed at $6.7 million, is a 6,236-square foot, five-bedroom home, with an open and inviting layout. 1061 Two Creeks Drive, on the other hand, has ski-in/ski-out access to Snowmass Ski Area with access to mountain biking, hiking trails and Aspen’s golf courses. This $11.75 million home is a KA Designworks six-bedroom, eight-bathroom, sophisticated home complete with a sunk-in hot tub and outdoor patio. Interested parties can even do a virtual reality home tour of the property.
Also in Aspen, 2900 W. Buttermilk Rd. is currently listed for $50 million and is one of the most expensive single-family homes currently listed in Colorado. The main house is 15,664-square-feet with seven bedrooms and 10 bathrooms. Accomodating the entire ski team won’t be an issue, plus you’ll be able to keep everyone’s cars and snowmobiles running all winter long with the 7,500-square-foot barn that includes a 3,000-square-foot, heated vehicle maintenance center, complete with a lift. Located adjacent to Buttermilk Ski Area, this is the only home with ski-in/ski-out access on West Buttermilk.
Exiting the mountains, you’ll find one of Denver’s first condo developments aimed at first-time home buyers in recent years. With one-bedroom units starting at $259,000, The Orpheus is looking to fill a gap in the housing market by offering affordable units targeted at young, working professionals. The midcentury-modern, 26-unit development is located in the Jefferson Park neighborhood with some Denver’s favorite restaurants and coffee shops in walking distance. The Orpheus plans to be move-in ready by the first quarter of 2018.
